Diana also makes made-to-order frames from wood taken from historic local buildings of the Pacific Northwest, some dating back to the 1890s. Many types of wood are available, from elegant silvery sun-aged cedar to painted siding with a distressed 'shabby-chic' look. A tag on each frame documents the source of the wood that went into that frame. The print or photograph is laminated to an archival backing, and coated with a UV-protective portrait sealant which can be cleaned with water or a mild cleaner. No glass is used, allowing for safe & easy shipping.
Rustic Photography can also put your own photographs in our handmade rustic frames.
Diana's images are from the west coast, from cutesey-wootsey chipmunks & prairie dogs to the savage grizzlies of the Kenai, from the big mountain cats to the majestic wapiti elk of the Pacific Coast range. Even the fleet-footed & camera-shy mule deer ranging east of the Cascades are likely subjects for Diana's camera.
Prices go from $55 for an 8x10 print in a custom rustic frame to $80 for an 11x14 photograph in a custom double-bordered frame.
